Keep Watch, Dear Lord - Compline Prayer
A print made from antique metal type and a wooden Star ornament by Moore Wood Type. The text comes from the Compline service in the 1979 edition of the Book of Common Prayer.
This print was made on my 1892 Golding Pearl printing press. It was set by hand and printed one at a time on Mohawk paper.

This is a lovely print! I am having mine framed and matted to place on my desk. It is a beautiful design and well made! This is my favorite prayer from the Compline service. I gave one as a gift to a friend as we meet via Zoom to say the Compline prayer on most Sunday evenings holding Ukraine, the Middle East and US in prayer.💙 I also pray this for my daughter who is an ICU nurse who works the 12 hour night shift!❤️🙏🕊️🙏 Thank you for creating this beautiful piece. 💗

i know what it is like to work through the long night hours, so this prayer has special meaning for me. Sarah just does the most lovely work - if you read the details of the print that captures your interest, you will see that such care is given to things like paper used, font chosen, usually individually printed on a press that is rich with history, and quite often in limited editions. I just love to order from this wonderful business where the owner cares about every detail. These prints do not disappoint.
