This print is of a slightly adjusted quote from the end of Wendell Berry's essay "The Work of Local Culture." You can find the full essay here: https://thecontraryfarmer.wordpress.com/2011/06/10/wendell-berry-the-work-of-local-culture/.
I created this print for myself to hang in my kitchen and remind me of the importance of family, community, and investing in our local places. I hope it will do the same for you.
It is hand printed on a Vandercook press using wood type (and a few metal ornaments). The print is 13 by 18" but can easily be trimmed to fit in a standard frame.
It was printed in a limited run of 30 and will be signed by the printer.

My husband and I are, for lack of a better word, Wendell Berry fans (though I don't think the man himself would appreciate that). The instant my husband saw this print, he knew we should have it in our home. Delivery was pretty much instantaneous, and the print itself is beautiful- it's a clean press on wonderfully heavy paper, and we can't wait to get it framed and on our wall. Thank you, CarpeFernPress!

Sarah's work is beautiful! I highly recommend it. The turnaround was quick too. I received the piece a few days after ordering and Sarah was very communicative. I hope to buy more of Carpe Fern Press in the future.
