I Like This Place - Shakespeare's As You Like It
This is a quote from William Shakespeare's play "As You Like It." It reads,
I like this place
And willing could waste
My time in it.
In the play, the characters are talking about the wood in which they've found themselves after fleeing an evil relative--but I think it can suit any location you like to spend your time in!
This print was handset with antique wood and metal type and metal ornaments. It was set letter by letter and printed by hand on my 1892 Golding Pearl press.
Each print is slightly different due to their handmade nature. The woodtype's wear and age make the pattern that appears in the green words.
This print is 8x10 inches and will fit in a standard frame.
